The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 500 block of Moreland Avenue at 9:02 p.m.
Deputies responded to a report of a person shot. Upon arrival deputies found 30-year-old Johntavies Dangelo Coleman, of Macon, lying in the doorway of the residence with a gunshot to the torso. Jackson was pronounced deceased on scene. The next of kin has been notified by the Coroner’s Office.
The suspect had already fled the scene before deputies arrived. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
