The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at 2295 Recreation Road, Rockland Apartments, just after 6:00a.m. Thursday morning. It was reported that a black male suspect had entered the resident and yelled “Police”. During the incident one person had been shot. Deputies arrived on scene and found 25yr old Casey O’Neil Harvey unresponsive inside the residence. Harvey was pronounced deceased by Navicent Health Medical Center peroneal on scene. The suspect had already fled the scene before Deputies arrived. No one else was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as being a black male wearing dark clothes medium build.
