Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call at 3000 Bethune Ave in reference to a person shot at around 2:15pm this evening. When deputies arrived they found 32 year old Rollie Vaughn laying in the yard with a gunshot wound to the lower back.
It was reported that a family member of Vaughn was outside in the yard, when Vaughn was shot. It was reported that Vaughn had an altercation with two males in the yard prior to the shooting. Vaughn was transported to the Navicent Center where he was later pronounced dead by Coroner Leon Jones.
The two male suspects are described as black males with dreads, driving a red in color vehicle. No further information about the incident is available at this time.
