Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call of a two vehicle accident with injuries just before 11:00PM Saturday night, at the 7700 block of Columbus Road.

It was reported that 26 year old  Amanda Collins and 25 year old Cody Griffin were operating Can-AM ATV’s South on Columbus Road while transporting passengers 24 year old Tyler Cruise who was riding with Collins and 24 year old  Emily Holden who was riding with  Griffin.

It was reported that Collins was turning into the driveway of 7770 Columbus Road when Griffin who was following her struck her in the rear causing Collins to run off the roadway.  Griffin lost control of his ATV which caused him to roll his vehicle into the ditch of 7770 Columbus Road ejecting his passenger Emily Holden and himself.  Holden ejected off the vehicle and went underneath a parked vehicle striking the under carriage, Griffin was ejected into the yard. The other vehicle operated by Amanda Collins and Cruise were also ejected where they landed off the roadway. EMS arrived on the scene and transported Holden and Cruise to the Navicent Health Hospital where Holden was pronounced dead by doctors. Cruise is listed in stable condition.
