Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a traffic accident with injuries just before 7:00 p.m. tonight on I-475 south near Exit 3, Eisenhower Parkway. It was reported that a Black 2014 BMW X5 was traveling south bound on I-475. The SUV was driven by 38 year old Kristen Burress of Perry Georgia. A 2003 Gold Honda Accord driven by 19 year old Caleb Sieg was  traveling up the on ramp onto  Interstate 475 south. Sieg  lost control of his vehicle while merging on to I-475 south . Sieg’s vehicle went  across all southbound lanes of traffic and impacted the center median wall where his vehicle came to  rest facing traffic. Burress did not see  Sieg’s vehicle in the roadway and collided head on with his vehicle.

Caleb Sieg the driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Lonnie Miley.  The driver of the SUV and her daughter were transported by ambulance to the Navicent Health Hospital for treatment. All lanes of traffic are now open. No further information is available at this time.
