Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot at English Avenue Apartments, located at 2336 English Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. this afternoon. When deputies arrived at the apartments, they found the victim, a black male, shot in the chest. He was inside the doorway of one of the apartments. The 36 year old male was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The victim’s name will be released once next of kin has been notified. No further information is available at this time.
