The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a person reported dead that occurred in the 4600 block of Pio Nono Avenue, just after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. It was reported that a person was found down in a ditch, on a bicycle, partially submerged in water. When deputies arrived at the scene they found the male unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office. The name of the deceased man is being withheld until the next of kin can be notified. At this time the case is being treated as a suspicious death. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
