Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking into the death of a white male that was found down in a ravine in a creek bed near 4041 Jones Road just before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. A resident in the neighborhood found the male unresponsive. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies along with EMS and Macon-Bibb County Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
The male was identified as 31 year old Ian Andrew Nichols, of Macon. The next of kin was notified by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death. No further information is available at this time.
