Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to Mosely Dixon Road near Lower Thomaston Road just before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning in reference to a report of a carjacking, personal armed robbery incident. When deputies arrived at the location they made contact with the 58 year old male victim.

It was reported that the victim had just picked up his vehicle, a 2000 Ford F250 Pickup Truck from being repaired. The engine light came on so he pulled off the road to check the truck. A maroon colored Honda pulled up behind him and a black male exited the passenger side of the vehicle and approached the victim asking if he needed assistance. The male then pulled a gun pointing it at the victim and demanded money and the truck. The victim gave the male and undisclosed amount of cash that he was carrying and the truck. The male drove off in the truck and a second black male that was in the Honda drove away in it. The victim was not injured.

The driver of the Honda is a light skinned black male, around 5’7” to 5’8” in height. He was described as having shoulder length dreads and was wearing a white Atlanta Falcons Shirt. The passenger who had the gun was described as dark skinned black male, around 5’7” to 5’8” in height. The vehicle is described as a early 90’s model Honda Accord, marron in color with tinted windows and a tinted cover on the tag. The paint is faded on the vehicle. The victims truck is a bluish green color with gold around the bottom. The truck does not have a tag displayed.
