Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Navicent Health Hospital just after 11:00 p.m. Friday night in reference to a person reported shot. The incident was reported to have occurred while the victim and a friend were walking in the area of Robin Hood Road. The victim, a 16 year old male and his friend, walked back to his residence on Crystal Lake Circle and told his mother he had been shot. His mother drove him to the hospital.
The victim was treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest. He is reported to be in stable condition at this time. No suspect information is available at this time.
