Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 1671 Madden Avenue just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning in reference to a report of a person shot. When deputies arrived they located the victim, 28 year old Adrian Robinson. Robinson reported that he was visiting a relative at the College Park Apartments located at 3535 Williamson Road. He was sitting in his vehicle when an unknown black male walked up to the vehicle and asked him for a lighter. The suspect jumped into the passenger side of Robinson’s vehicle. He reported that 4 other suspects, whom he could not describe, also got in the vehicle. Robinson was put in the trunk of the vehicle and driven around for a period of time before ending up on Madden Avenue. He was taken out of the vehicle on Madden Avenue and was shot on the right side of his neck and right leg.
Robinson was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Robinson’s vehicle is a dark blue 2007 Honda Accord. The tag is a Georgia plate but the tag number is not known at this time.
