Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot at 1473 Berkner Court just before 1:45 a.m. Monday morning. Deputies found the victim, 19 year old Traveon Robinson. He had been shot once in the leg.
It was reported by Robinson that he was walking on Montpelier Avenue near Montpelier Place when two black males approached him on bicycles. The males asked him about being in that area, then one of the suspects shot him. He described both males as being young. Robinson went to the address on Berkner Court to get help. He was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital by ambulance to be treated for the injury and was listed in stable condition. No further information is available on the suspects.
