The Bibb County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit and SWAT Team, in a joint investigation with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Peach County Sheriff’s Drug Unit, conducted a drug search warrant at 4475 Fulton Mill Road early Friday morning at around 2:30 am. During the search warrant 33 year old Donald Frederick Meeks Jr. was arrested for trafficking Methamphetamine and the following items were seized; 1 Kilo of Methamphetamine (estimated at a street value of $120,000.00), 2 semi-automatic rifles, 1 carbine rifle, 1 semi-automatic pistol, 1 X26 Taser Gun and Taser Cartridges, and $4,668.00 in US Currency.
Meeks was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the trafficking charge. Bond was denied for Meeks by a Magistrate Court Judge. He remains in the Bibb County LEC.
