At 11:13 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office gang investigators made a traffic stop on a black Nissan Sentra for a seatbelt violation, in the area of Houston Avenue and Ibex Street.

During the traffic stop, Investigators observed a strong odor of marijuana and searched the vehicle. Investigators found a handgun, marijuana, drug packing paraphernalia, and cash. The driver, 18-year-old Robert Clarence Johnson III and the passenger, 19-year-old Rachel Ann Duehring were arrested for the Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana. Both Johnson and Duehring were charged with Possession of a Firearm or Knife During the Commission of Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, and Manufacture/Possess Controlled or Counterfeit Substance, or Marijuana, Near Park/Housing Project. Both individuals were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center where they are being held without bond.
