A joint operation between the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit, Special Investigations Unit, Traffic Unit, Sheriff’s Special Response Team and the Superior Court Probations Office was conducted during the evening of Thursday, July 9, 2015. During the operation deputies and probation officers concentrated on various areas in Bibb County in order to combat criminal activity. Arrest warrants were served, driver safety checks were conducted and Superior Court Probations Officers assisted in identifying any probationers. The operation resulted in several traffic citations issued, 1 stolen vehicle recovered and 16 people arrested on various charges. Arrested were the following:

Alveres Jackson – 28 YOA – Macon – Bench Warrant (Houston County)
Charles Fountain – 26 YOA – Macon – Bench Warrant (Bibb County)
Jamal Ziyad Shasid-Deen – 27 YOA – Macon – Driving On Suspended License
James Windhom III- 27 YOA – Macon – 2 Bench Warrants (Bibb County)
Jeremy Wimes – 32 YOA – Macon – Bench Warrant (Bibb County)
Travis Mahone – 33 YOA – Macon – Driving w/o License, DUI Alcohol, Possession of Schedule 2 Drugs, Possession of Marijuana
Jimmie Foster Jr. – 47 YOA – Macon – Superior Court Probation Violation
