Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a missing person in the Providence neighborhood just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. It was reported that the female, reported missing by her husband, had not been seen since around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday and he was concerned as she takes medication for a medical issue. As neighbors and deputies were searching the area, Deputy Carlisle and his K9 partner, Nala, assisted by Deputy Irwin, also responded to assist in the search. K9 Nala located the female who was unresponsive at the time. She was taken up to EMS who was on the scene and checked out. She was treated on scene and was responsive to the EMS personnel. A big thanks to all who assisted in the search yesterday evening; family, friends, neighbors, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, and a special thanks to K9 Nala and Deputy Carlisle.
