Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators made an additional arrest of a 16 year old male juvenile on Wednesday in connection to the 3 automobiles stolen from Judge Self and the one vehicle that was stolen from Middle Georgia State University that is owned by Judge Ashford.

During the investigation into the stolen autos, information led to the arrest of the 16 year old juvenile. He is charged with theft by taking and criminal trespass in the incident involving Judge Self’s three vehicles and theft by receiving in the incident involving Judge Ashford’s vehicle.  The 16 year old was turned over to the custody of his parent. He has a court date set for Juvenile Court.

Additional charges were also made on Monteris Jackson, Maury Frye and the 14 year old female juvenile. Jackson made bond on the theft by receiving charge on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was arrested again on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 on the charges of making false statements, criminal trespass and theft by taking in reference to the incident involving Judge Self’s vehicles. He has a bond set at $13,455.00. Frye has been denied bond on all previous charges. He was additionally charged on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 with theft by receiving in the incident involving the theft of Judge Ashford’s 2002 Ford Expedition. He also was denied bond on the additional charge. The 14 year old female juvenile was additionally charged with theft by receiving also on the incident involving the theft of the 2002 Ford Expedition. This charge will be added to her Juvenile Court appearance on the previous charges.

Investigators continue to work on the case. At this time it does not appear that the victim’s vehicles were stolen because they are Judges.
