Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in the homicide investigation of 43 year old Deleon Wiley Hudson. Hudson was found fatally shot in his vehicle on Lakeshore Drive around noon on December 22, 2015.
The male shown in the two pictures attached is believed to be the same person in both pictures. He is a person of interest and investigators would like to talk with him. In the color picture, the male appears to be walking from Lakeview Apartments towards the location of where the victim was parked. In the black and white picture it also shows the male walking towards the location where the victim was parked. Both pictures were taken from two different surveillance videos in the area.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Fatal Shooting In East Macon
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot just before 12:00 noon today on Lakeshore Drive. It was reported that the Macon-Bibb Fire Department was called to the location in reference to a vehicle fire. When they arrived they found some type of cloth stuck in the opening to the gas tank, on fire. The vehicle did not burn. While putting the small fire out firefighters discovered there was an unknown male in the vehicle and he was unresponsive.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the location and found a white male fatally wounded by a single gunshot. The male was identified as 43 year old Deleon Wiley Hudson, of Macon. Wiley was pronounced dead at the scene. The next of kin was notified by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.
