Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a residential burglary Saturday, January 9th, just before 8:30AM at a residence in the 100 block of Marjane Drive. It was reported that the homeowner had come home just after 8:00AM and found the back door to his home forced open. The inside of the home had been ransacked and several items had been taken.

Deputies and investigators canvassed the area and found some of the stolen items in a wooded area near the victim’s home. As investigators walked a trail in the wooded area they found more property belonging to the victim. Several more items were located in the backyard of a residence at 5461 Zebulon Road, which is near Marjane Drive. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence on Zebulon Road and recovered more property belonging to the victim.

Investigators arrested 31 year old Brandon Carl Tucker at the home on Zebulon Road. He was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Investigations Office to be questioned. Tucker is charged with Burglary. He was taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge. He has a bond set at $8,450.00.
