Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy Tony Moss arrested 47 year old, Richard Thomas of Macon on Friday afternoon, January 1, 2016. Thomas was arrested in connection with two recent incidents where a total of 3 vehicles were broken into. One location was at Wades Detail Shop, located at the corner of Napier Avenue at Bailey Avenue and the other location was Safeway Auto Sales, located at 800 Pionono Avenue. Deputy Moss followed up on information he received during the investigation of a possible suspect. Deputy Moss also recognized Thomas from a surveillance video from one of the businesses.
Thomas was questioned about the incidents and charged with 3 counts of Entering an Automobile. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he was booked on the charges. Thomas has a bond amount of $3,900.00.
