Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of shots fired at Central Georgia Technical College, located at 3300 Macon Tech Drive just before 11:30 a.m. Monday morning. It was reported by a Central Georgia Technical College Police Officer that some shots were fired on campus, just outside Building I.

It was reported that an argument between some unknown individuals occurred in the cafeteria of the college. Sometime after the argument three shots were fired from a gun, outside of Building I.

Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, working along with Central Georgia Technical College Police Officers are identifying and interviewing witnesses that may have saw or heard the incident. Investigators are looking for an unknown year model Ford Crown Victoria described as spray painted flat black in color, last seen occupied by three black males wearing blue jeans, white shirts and red sweatbands. Investigators are also looking for a blue or black Nissan Altima occupied by three black males in connection with the incident this morning. No description on the males is available at this time. No one was injured during the incident. The college was placed on lock down for a brief period while deputies and policed officers made sure the college was safe.
