Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a residential burglary in progress at 2844 Cherry Avenue just after 1:30PM today, December 3rd. When deputies arrived at the home they saw two black males standing just outside a window at the home and the window’s screen had been removed. One of the males immediately ran away, seeing the deputies. The second male tried to run but was detained. He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Investigations Office. After further investigation the male suspect, identified as 17 year old Wesley Holt was charged with obstruction and criminal attempt to commit burglary. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charges. His bond is set at $9,750.00.
