Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a vehicle being broken into in the 4500 block of Shadowlawn Drive just before 2:30PM, Thursday afternoon. As soon as deputies arrived at the location, a lookout was obtained and given out to all deputies over the radio.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted a male subject fitting the description of the suspect on Ayers Road near Napier Avenue. The suspect, later identified as 35 year old Jerome Dwayne Thomas of Macon, was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Investigations Office to be questioned. He was charged with Entering Auto and taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. His bond was set at $1,300.00.
