Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of an entering auto on the 200 block of North Wesleyan Circle. The incident occurred on March 06, 2016 just before 6:00 pm. The victim stated that a debit card was stolen from the vehicle and used at Walmart on Zebulon Road. Investigators reviewed surveillance video and obtained an image of the suspect and vehicle.

Just before 9:00 pm deputies responded to a call of another entering auto at the 3800 block of Northside Dr. When deputies arrived on scene the suspect had left. Deputies received a description of a white male witnessed inside the vehicle, his vehicle description and tag number.  Deputies went to the address listed to the tag and made contact with the vehicle and suspect. Deputies detained the male without incident.

The male, identified as 28 year old Nicholas Adams Stratigos of Macon, was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Investigations Office to be questioned. Stratigos was charged with 2 counts of Entering Auto, Financial Transaction card Fraud and Financial Transaction card Theft.
