Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call in reference to a report of a multiple subjects looking into vehicles in the Southfork Dr. area on Sunday morning, just before 1:30 a.m. Information was given by a resident in the neighborhood who described the subjects. Deputies arrived at the area and attempted to locate the suspects. The suspects took off running from deputies.  One of the suspects, a 16yr old, was caught after a brief foot chase and detained for questioning. A second male, later identified as 17 year old Jaquavius Terrion Moore, was caught attempting to get back into a stolen auto that was used by the suspects. Moore had a pistol concealed on his person when he was detained. Moore was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Division to be interviewed. During the interview with Moore, it was discovered that he and the 16yr old Juvenile, entered multiple vehicles in the area. Two additional suspects ran off into the woods and were not located.

Moore was charged with Entering Auto, theft by receiving auto, obstruction of peace officer, possession of firearm during commission of felony, possession of pistol by person under 18yrs old and carrying a concealed weapon. Moore was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

The juvenile was charged with entering auto and transported to Macon Regional Youth Developmental Center.
