Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call of a burglar alarm at 2540 Riverside Drive, Money Miser, just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday night. Deputies saw a person dressed in all black near the building when they arrived. The suspect attempted to run away on foot and deputies caught him near the business.
The suspect was identified as a 15 year old black male juvenile. He was carrying a black shirt which was used to cover his face and also a book bag containing a metal bar which was used for breaking the window of the business in attempt to enter the business. The suspect was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Property Crimes Investigation Division to be questioned. He was charged with burglary and was transported to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center on the charge. There was second suspect who got away before deputies arrived. Investigators are working on identifying the second suspect. No further information is available.
