Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies Apprehend Suspects Within Minutes Responding To Credit Card Fraud Incident

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call at the Comfort Suites located at 120 Plantation Inn Drive Sunday afternoon in reference to a complaint of credit card fraud. It was reported that a black male, later identified as 25 year old Truquan Dixon, from Brooklyn New York, used several different credit cards while attempting to pay for a room at the motel.

Deputy Rugen made contact with three individuals in the room in question. While there, deputies found several credit cards and other items used in relation to credit card fraud. Dixon and two other individuals in the room were detained for questioning. The other two people were identified as 26 year old Dorcine Grimes, from Brooklyn New York and 28 year old Shaqwanda Staley, from Brooklyn New York.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators questioned all three suspects. They were later transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Grimes is charged with forgery of a financial transaction card, financial transaction card fraud and criminal possession of financial transaction card forgery devices.  He has a bond amount of $35,400.00.

Dixon is charged with forgery of a financial transaction card, financial transaction card fraud and criminal possession of financial transaction card forgery devices.  He has a bond amount of $35,400.00.

Staley is charged with forgery of a financial transaction card, financial transaction card fraud and criminal possession of financial transaction card forgery devices. She has a bond amount of $35,400.00. All three remain in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
