Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a 60 year old female victim robbed of her cellphone just before 10:00 p.m. Monday night on Ayers Road. It was reported that the victim was approached by the suspect and asked if he could use her phone. As the victim dialed the number, the suspect snatched the phone and ran. During the initial investigation at the scene, the suspect was identified as 18 year old Kendraco Cater.
Cater was located a short time later and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Division to be questioned about the incident. He was charged with Robbery by Sudden Snatching and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He has a bond set at $7,350.00. He currently remains in the Bibb LEC.
