Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 3855 Saint Charles Place on Thursday just before 12:00 noon in reference to a call of a residential burglary in progress. When deputies arrived they saw two suspects flee on foot from the residence. Deputies chased the suspects on foot and apprehended both suspects. One suspect was in possession of a loaded gun.
The suspects were identified as 20 year old Anthony Deon Collins and a 16 year old male juvenile. Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrived at the scene and both suspects refused to talk with investigators. Collins was charged with burglary and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Collins will have appear before a judge for a bond. The juvenile was charged with burglary and transported to the Macon Regional Youth Development Center.
