A Bibb County patrol deputy turned himself over to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center after warrants were issued for his arrest.
It was reported that on March 14, 2020, off duty deputy, 50-year-old James Emberson Litton, was working part time as a disk jockey at the Ice Bar & Grill, located at 3464 Williamson Road. Litton and another male got into an altercation over a female. Litton was reported to have pulled a handgun on the other male.
After a criminal investigation was conducted, an arrest warrant was issued for Litton’s arrest. Litton turned himself over to the Bibb County Jail and was charged with Aggravated Assault. Litton has a bond of $22,200.
Litton is currently on administrative leave, pending the completion of an Internal Affairs investigation conducted by the Office of Professional Standards.
