Earlier today, the proprietor of “The Thirsty Turtle” bar was served an alcohol license revocation letter on behalf of Sheriff David Davis, suspending all sales of alcoholic beverages at the establishment located at 425 Cherry Street. This action was taken in reference to the events that occurred on July 24, 2021.
The revocation of the establishment’s alcohol license is to take place immediately as the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and the Macon-Bibb Commissioners conduct a review of the activities relating to the operations of the business.
