Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to an attempted personal armed robbery that took place at Tony’s Wash House located at 1338 Gray Highway just before 10:30PM Tuesday night. It was reported that the victim, 60 year old Yusuff Churchill had just closed the business. After getting into his vehicle to leave, a black male with a beard, yanked open the driver’s side door and struck Yusuff in the head with what he believes to be a gun. He said there were two other black males with the one that entered his vehicle. Yusuff reported he yelled “oh no” and the suspects fled the location on foot. No money was taken during the incident.
All three suspects are described as 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet in height, slender build and between 20 to 30 years of age. Yusuff was treated at the scene for a cut over his left eye. He did not require further treatment.
