The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted commercial armed robbery that occurred at around 12:00 midnight, Monday night, November 23, 2015, at the Circle K Convenience Store, located at 2580 Riverside Drive.
It was reported that a black male entered the store and asked to purchase a pack of cigarettes from the store’s clerk. When the clerk opened the register, the suspect demanded the clerk give him the money from the register. The suspect put his hand in his pocket, as if he had a gun and threatened the clerk. The clerk refused to give the suspect the money and dialed 911. The suspect ran out of the front door of the store towards Pierce Avenue. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie, light colored jeans, white sneakers, and a black mask covering his face and carrying a tan colored backpack.
