Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a male suspect, 28-year-old James Richard Fuller, of Macon, wanted for Aggravated Assault and Battery.
On April 28, 2020, at 11:08 p.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an address in the 1600 block of Selma Place regarding a fight. Upon arrival, deputies were informed that there was a verbal altercation between 28-year-old James Richard Fuller, of Macon, and his 38-year-old male cousin over a car race that took place. During the verbal altercation, James Fuller pulled a pistol and struck his cousin in the head. Fuller fled the scene before deputies arrived.
On April 29, 2020, at 01:17 a.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an address in the 1300 block of Conestoga Trail regarding a person shot. Upon arrival, deputies were informed that 28-year-old James Richard Fuller, of Macon, shot his 48-year-old cousin. It was stated that James Fuller called his cousin and threatened him for giving a statement regarding him striking his other cousin in the head with a gun. The victim was shot once in the left lower leg. He was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and treated for his injuries. No one else was injured during the incident.
28-year-old James Richard Fuller, of Macon, has warrants for his arrest and is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows the location of James Richard Fuller, they are asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Please do not approach Fuller.
