The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in connection with the theft by conversion of a vehicle and cruelty to an elderly person incident.

On Thursday, February 19, 2015 at around 1:41PM Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to a residence at 691 Wesleyan Drive about a vehicle being driven without the owner’s consent.  It was reported by the vehicle’s owner, William Pelt Jr., his daughter, 49 year old, Lisa Lang had taken his silver 2000 Buick LeSabre, Georgia tag number DP2P83. The vehicle has a wheelchair rack mounted on the rear. Lang is the caretaker of Pelt. He had given Lang permission on Wednesday morning, February 18, 2014 to take the vehicle to pick up some items at a local store and return back to the residence. Lang had not returned. Lang has been heard from by another family member since the report was filed, but would not give her whereabouts.

The suspect, Lisa Lang, is wanted for questioning in the incident.  Anyone with information on the location of Lang or the Vehicle is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the on-call Property Investigator or call Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
