The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident of a person that was shot on Thursday afternoon. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 3:53 p.m.

A call came in to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center for deputies to respond to an address that is located on Ward Street, in reference to a male that was shot. A short time later, a second call came in stating that a juvenile male, that had been shot, was dropped off at the hospital by a personal vehicle. Once the juvenile was dropped off at the hospital, the driver inside of the vehicle fled west on Pine Street. The two male occupants that were with the juvenile were last seen leaving on foot. The two males were last seen walking towards Forsyth Street and then towards Spring Street.

The male juvenile is listed to be in critical, but stable condition.

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping find all three individuals that brought the victim to the hospital. These individuals are wanted for questioning in connection to this incident.

The vehicle is described as possibly being an older model Ford Taurus. The vehicle is white in color. There are large paint chips that are missing from the hood, front fenders, and trunk areas. The vehicle was driven by a black female. She was last seen wearing a fluorescent green t-shirt and dark shorts.

There were two other male passengers that were in the vehicle, but they left the hospital on foot. The individuals were black males, one was wearing a gray shirt, possibly dark colored shorts, and white tennis shoes. The second male was last seen wearing black pants, and black shoes. He did not have on a shirt.

This investigation is in its early stages.
