Bibb County Sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that took place at the intersection of Houston Avenue and Cynthia Avenue, near Bowden Homes apartments.
Investigators are asking for information on the whereabouts of 15-year-old Jay’ryon Deshond Earl Willis. Warrants have been issued for Willis charging him with the murder of 38-year-old Damond Cain Stevens.

Homicide Investigation On Cynthia Avenue
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that was reported near the intersection of Houston Avenue and Cynthia Avenue, next to Bowden Homes. The incident was called in just after 12:30 a.m.
When deputies arrived on scene they found two male victims outside of the apartment complex on Cynthia Avenue. Both victims were transported to the Navicent Health Center to be treated for their wounds. The first victim, identified as 25-year-old Jacorey Holloway of Macon was struck in the buttocks, his injuries are non-life-threatening. The second victim, 38-year-old Damond Stevens was struck in his side. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. The next of kin has not been located.
Investigators are continuing to investigate this shooting in an attempt to determine the events surrounding this incident.
