Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in an Aggravated Assault Investigation. The incident took place at the Supa Suds car wash, located at 590 Pio Nono Avenue on June 15, 2022 at 11:23 p.m.
Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping identify two individuals that are wanted for questioning in reference to this investigation. The attached video shows a male in all black clothing, with blue shoes, and a second male that is wearing a red colored jacket, white pants, and red shoes. These two men are wanted for questioning.

The victim, 59-year-old Freddie Crowell, remains at the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Aggravated Assault Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an aggravated assault that took place at a car wash, located in the 500 block of Pio Nono Avenue. The incident occurred at 11:23 p.m, Tuesday.
It was reported that a person was shot at the car wash and walked over to the Macon-Bibb County Fire Station, that was located across the street. The victim was identified as 59-year-old Freddie Crowell. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. Crowell was originally listed to be in stable condition. Crowell’s status has since been upgraded to critical, but stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
