The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a commercial armed robbery suspect. The incident occurred on June 10, 2024, at 4:15 a.m., at Citgo located at 5642 Houston Road.
It was reported that a masked individual wearing all dark clothing and a mask entered the store and demanded money. He attempted to climb over the store counter but the store clerk pushed him back over. During the scuffle, the clerk was shot once by the suspect. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction. The clerk was transported to a local hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury. He is listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a black male.
