The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an auto theft that occurred at the Petro gas station, located at 7285 Hawkinsville Road at around 8:11a.m. Wednesday morning.  It was reported that the victim pulled into the parking lot of the gas station and then went inside to make a purchase. He left his keys in the ignition and the truck was left running. A witness to the incident stated that a Hispanic male entered the victim’s truck and drove away. The suspect was last seen headed south on Hawkinsville Road, towards Warner Robins.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a goatee. He is around 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighs approximately 145 lbs. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with a design on the front.

The stolen vehicle is described as a blue in color, 2001 Chevrolet 3500, flatbed truck. The Georgia tag displayed is 952ZXM. There is a tag mounted on the front of the truck that displays, “Jesus Saving Lives” and there are also several stickers on the back of the truck. There are several American flag stickers and a sticker that reads “Troopers are your best protection”. The flatbed truck has a ladder rack on the back.
