The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping identify one of the individuals involved in a February 9, 2022 Personal Armed Robbery Investigation.

As investigators continue to work on identifying and locating the three individuals involved in the personal armed robbery, photos were obtained that show one of the suspects walking from the stolen vehicle and into a gas station that was located in Decatur, Georgia. This suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with the word, “Drippin” on the front. The suspect was caught on camera, without wearing a facial covering as he was at the other gas station. Investigators are continuing to work on identifying this individual and the other individuals involved.

The vehicle was stolen from two females, on February 7, 2022, at the Quick Zip that is located at 1800 Pio Nono Avenue. No one was injured during this incident.  On February 10, 2022, the vehicle was recovered after it was left abandoned in a parking lot that is located in the 2000 block of Vineville Avenue.

All three individuals were described as black males. One of the males wore a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “Drippin” on the front. He had on a white facial covering, black pants and black shoes. The second male was wearing a blue hooded “NIKE” sweatshirt, blue pants, flip flops, and he had on a blue facial covering. The third male had on a black and gray camouflage hooded sweatshirt with an unknown marking on the front, black pants, and black shoes.

Update: Stolen Jeep Located in Personal Armed Robbery Investigation

On Thursday morning at around 8:40 a.m., the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received a call that the 2015 gray in color Jeep Patriot that was stolen during a Personal Armed Robbery, was found abandoned in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Vineville Avenue.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for three male individuals who took the vehicle from two females on February 7, 2022 at the Quick Zip, located at 1800 Pio Nono Avenue.

All three individuals were described as black males. One of the males wore a black hooded sweatshirt with the  word “Drippin” on the front. He had on a white facial covering, black pants and black shoes. The second male was wearing a blue hooded “NIKE” sweatshirt, blue pants, flip flops, and he had on a blue facial covering. The third male had on a black and gray camouflage hooded sweatshirt with an unknown marking on the front, black pants, and black shoes.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Personal Armed Robbery Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals involved in a Personal Armed Robbery of a Motor Vehicle. The incident occurred on February 7, 2022 at the Quick Zip, located at 1800 Pio Nono Avenue. The incident took place at 11:46 p.m.

It was reported that three males approached two females as they were exiting the store. The males were wearing masks and brandished a firearm. The males demanded that the females give up the 2015 gray Jeep Patriot. The females complied and the males jumped into the jeep. The males fled the store parking lot, last seen traveling east on Mercer University Drive. No one was injured during this incident.

All three individuals were described as black males. One of the males wore a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “Drippin” on the front. He had on a white facial covering, black pants and black shoes. The second male was wearing a blue hooded “NIKE” sweatshirt, blue pants, flip flops, and he had on a blue facial covering. The third male had on a black and gray camouflage hooded sweatshirt with an unknown marking on the front, black pants, and black shoes.

The three males left in a four door, gray in color, 2015 Jeep Patriot with black rims. The vehicle has a Georgia tag display of RNF0460. Photographs of the individuals involved and the stolen Jeep are attached to this media release.
