Bibb County Sheriff’s Office fatality investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate the SUV that was involved in a Hit and Run incident. 

The incident occurred in the 4800 block of Harrison Road on April 27, 2021. The vehicle involved is described as a white in color Chevrolet Suburban or Tahoe. The vehicle year is between 2000-2006.  There should be damage to the front right headlight of this vehicle. It was reported that the male driver was described as wearing a white tank top, black pants, and black shoes at the time of this incident. The driver was last seen heading towards Eisenhower Parkway from Harrison Road.

Pedestrian Hit And Run Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a  traffic collision involving a pedestrian that happened in the 4800 block of Harrison Road at 8:47 p.m.

Deputies responded to the area in regards to a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle. When deputies arrived they found a female that was unresponsive in the roadway.  It was reported that a White Tahoe driven by a male driver struck the female. The  male driver stopped to check on the female and then fled the scene. The driver of the Tahoe was described as a black male with a slender build, wearing a white tank top. The female victim, later identified as 35-year-old Myeisha Veronica Glenn,  was transported to the Atrium Health Center where she later succumbed to her injuries. The next of kin has been notified by the Coroner’s Office.

This collision is still under investigation. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this collision, or if you know the identity of the male that left the scene, to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Crimestoppers  at 1-877-68CRIME.
