Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in the Aggravated Assault of 37-year-old Cedric Grayer, of Macon. The incident occurred on August 14, 2021, on Lilly Avenue.

Investigators have identified the suspect as, 18-year-old Garcolas Jermaine Hunter Jr., of Macon. Warrants for Aggravated Assault have been issued for Hunter. Hunter is known to frequent the Unionville area.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Person Shot

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are investigating a shooting incident that occurred outside a home, located in the 200 block of Lilly Ave, just after 5:30 p.m.

It was reported that two men were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in one of the men being shot. The victim, 37-year-old Cedric Grayer, was transported to the hospital by ambulance. He is listed in critical condition. Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses in this incident.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.
