Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call about shots fired at a house at 894 Maynard Street just after 11:30pm Tuesday night. The house was occupied by several people at the time of the incident. As one of the deputies was responding to the location, he saw a vehicle on Cowan Street traveling at a high rate of speed in the opposite direction, with the headlights off. The deputy stopped the vehicle on Cowan Street at Norris Street. The vehicle was a white Ford Focus. When the vehicle stopped, someone got out and ran from the vehicle. The driver and one other passenger were still in the vehicle and were detained.
The vehicle was identified as a white Ford Focus that was involved in the incident on Maynard Street. The driver was identified as 19 year old Tylir Kendall and the passenger was identified as 20 year old Leandra Robinson. After being questioned by an investigator with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, they were both were arrested and charged with aggravated assault. No bond has been set.
