This morning around 5:30 a.m. the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Jones County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested two Macon men in connection to the April 29, 2021 homicide of 23-year-old Brandon Washington.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators were able to identify 19-year-old Divine Elamon Taylor, and 19-year-old Divinity Elhasaan Taylor of Macon, as the suspects in connection to the April homicide of Brandon Washington. Both Divine and Divinity Taylor were taken into custody at the Jones County Sheriff’s Department Sub-Station after turning themselves over to members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Divine and Divinity were transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with Murder. They are being held without bond at this time.

Homicide Investigation On Zebulon Road
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that was reported at the Circle K, located at 6205 Zebulon Road. The incident was called in just after 1:30 a.m.
It was reported that deputies responded to a call of a person down that came into the Macon-Bibb E-911 call center. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound laying outside his vehicle. The male identified as 23-year-old Brandon Washington was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators are continuing to investigate this incident in an attempt to determine the events surrounding the death.
The next of kin was notified by the Coroner’s Office. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
