Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, with the assistance of the Gang Unit, and the SRT Unit, arrest two in connection to the death of 42-year-old Clifford Tyrone Browner. This incident occurred on January 14, 2024, in the 1000 block of Triple Hill Drive.
Investigators were able to connect 24-year-old Dequavia Pollard and 25-year-old Amore Calhoun to the shooting death of Clifford Tyrone Browner. Pollard and Calhoun were taken into custody without incident Friday evening and were transported to the Bibb County jail where they are being held without bond.
In this case, Pollard is being held on charges of Murder and Criminal Street Gang Activity.
Calhoun is being held on charges of Murder and Criminal Street Gang Activity.

Death Investigation on Triple Hill Drive
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred within the 1000 block of Triple Hill Drive at 3:35 a.m. Sunday.
On January 14, 2024, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a distress call reporting shots fired in the area. When Deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a forty-two-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Atrium Health Navicent for medical treatment. No one else was reported injured.
According to Medical Staff, the victim, 42-year-old Clifford Tyrone Browner of Macon, was pronounced deceased at 4:18 a.m. According to the Medical Staff, the next of kin has been notified.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
