On Feb. 15, 2022, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies and DEA agents stopped 31-year-old Joshua Ross, of Lizella, while driving and found him to be in possession of a handgun and a quantity of marijuana.

This stop subsequently led to a search being conducted of his residence, which yielded a shotgun, a stolen handgun, and marijuana packaging material. This led to two more residences belonging to Ross being searched where approximately 75 pounds of marijuana, approximately a kilo of cocaine, approximately 6 pounds of THC edibles, approximately 4 ounces of counterfeit Roxicodone, and three additional firearms were seized.

Co-conspirators 29-year-old Kenyatta Jackson, of Macon, and 31-year-old Eboni Poindexter, of Houston County, were also arrested during this investigation.

Joshua Ross was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. He is also being held for probation violation. Ross is being held without bond at this time at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Kenyatta Jackson was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine. She is being held without bond at this time.

Eboni Poindexter was charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. She is being held at the Houston County jail.
