The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at 1920 Jeffersonville Road, Jim’s Food Mart just before 9:00p.m. Wednesday night.  It was reported that there was an verbal  altercation between a husband and wife. Witnesses stated that during the altercation the wife called for a ride from a friend. When the female friend arrived with two other male subjects in the vehicle. The husband became upset and   pulled a pistol and fired a shot into the female friend vehicle . During the incident 27yr Chenise Oliver , of Macon, was shot in the left arm. Deputies and investigators  were later able to locate and  take the suspect 44yr  James Allen Williams Jr., of Macon, into custody at a home in the 2300 block of Watts Road without incident.  Oliver was transported to the Navicent Health Center for treatment of her injury. She is listed to be in stable condition.

Williams is being charged with three counts of  aggravated assault and Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Williams is currently being held with no bond.
