Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies make an arrest in a residential burglary in progress that occurred at 2140 Ingleside Ave at about 1:20am. The homeowner stated that suspect Charlie Wells knocked on the door of this home that was unlocked and then walked inside without permission. The home owner stated when she heard the suspect knock she was on her way down stairs to the door when she discovered the suspect coming out of her laundry room. The suspect ran from the home when he was discovered. The homeowner called Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and Charlie Wells was detained near 2014 Ingleside Av. Wells was transported to the property office and interviewed. Wells was charged with Burglary and was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
