Bibb County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of a “personal armed robbery” that took place at the Circle K gas station, located at 2580 Riverside Drive. The incident occurred at around 11:13 p.m. Tuesday night. During the incident, 27 year old Angela Bradley, was shot in the left foot.
It was reported that 27 year old, D’Angelo Stokes, his girlfriend Angela Bradley, and her 3 month old infant were at the gas pumps, waiting to meet with an unknown male.
The unknown male suspect got into Stoke’s vehicle and they began to have a dispute. The suspect was reported to have snatched the keys out of the vehicle and then demanded money from Stokes. The suspect got out of the vehicle, brandished a handgun and then shot the gun in an unknown direction. Stokes threw an undisclosed amount of cash towards the suspect. Stokes and the suspect began exchange gunfire. During this incident is when Bradley was shot in the left foot.
The suspect got into another vehicle, driven by another unknown male and then fled the scene.
Bradley was transported to the Navicent Health Center by ambulance and has since been discharged from the hospital. The infant and Stokes were not injured during this incident.
Investigators continued to look into this incident throughout the night and met with a male suspect by the name of Thomas Richard Sallette, age 28 from Macon. Investigators interviewed Sallette about the incident.
Investigators issued warrants on Sallette for the charges of Armed Robbery, (3) cts. Of Aggravated Assault, Cruelty to Children (1st degree), and Possession of a Firearm by a First Offender.
Sallette is currently at the hospital, receiving treatment for a gunshot wound to the leg that he was reported to have received during this incident. He is listed to be in stable condition. Once he is released from doctor’s care, he will be transported to the Bibb County L.E.C. for the above listed warrants.
This investigation is ongoing.
